Course overview
This course is designed to provide the beginning level Arabic student with additional skills to build reading fluency of Qur'aan. It focuses on points of articulation, key characteristics of Arabic letters, and other basic rules for reading. In addition to course guided reading with labs, students will build vocabulary and complete an end of semester recitation and reflection project.

Your Reading Fluency group will become like family. The small group reading session allows for individual attention to correct and grown in your fluency. As you grow in your connection to Qur'aan, you will also grow your relationships with others on the same journey.
Meet the instructor
Dr. Hajirah Abdus-Salaam
Hajjah, Dr. Hajirah Abdus-Salaam is a Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor and Certified Iridologist and Natural Health Professional. Dr. Abus-Salaam holds a certification In Islamic Teacher Education (I.T.E.P.) from University of Toronto, Canada, OISE – Ontario Institute of Studies in Education. She has also studied various Islamic Sciences at Al-Rawiya College including Uloom Al-Quran, Uloom Al-Hadith, Seerah of the Prophet, and Qur'aanic Arabic. Dr. Hajirah operates her own wholistic health company, "Read A Healthy You 'Wholistic Health."
